VIVA Life Science started as the vision of businessman David Fan, who is now President and CEO of the company. His first encounter with the Network Marketing Industry was in 1972 as he worked as an investment banker and had to bring a Network Marketing company public, which made him gain interest in the industry. In 1984, David joined a big Network Marketing corporation as a full time distributor so that he could learn about the business. Six months later, he bought the company's supplier, Westar Nutrition. And in 1989, David bought one of Westar's customers, VIVA America Marketing, which was later renamed VIVA Life Science to reflect the growth of the company and its commitment to a true alliance between nature and science. Ten years later, VIVA Life Science has built a platform of nutritional science that today sets the standard for the industry in the United States and countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, China, Thailand, and Mexico.
